The 4th Aerospace Wales Showcase Expo
This is not a generic expo. It is the only event in North Wales where Airbus, BAE Systems, Boeing, MBDA, Safran and Teledyne Qioptiq will all be present in one day — alongside the Ministry of Defence and Welsh Government.

Springpod is a virtual work experience platform which has courses which cover a wide range of courses from religious studies to aviation and aerospace. As part of our work with Equal Skies we would like to begin directing interested parties towards the site to learn more about the industry. The courses can be accessed for free by people aged 13+ and currently includes 9 courses ranging from engineering by Rolls-Royce to learning about spaceports with the CAA.

Engineering champion Andrew Barnett from Fareham has warned of a ‘reverse skills gap’ in the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) sector. He has called for students, trainees and apprentices to receive more practical, hands-on training in education and the workplace.
