FAC FEATURE

We are delighted to share an exciting new development that strengthens our commitment to widening access and opportunity within aviation. As part of our work with the Equal Skies Charter, Aerobility now has its own dedicated dashboard on Springpod — a leading virtual work experience platform designed to inspire and inform the next generation.
This new partnership opens the door to free, high-quality online courses for young people aged 13 and over, helping them explore the vast and varied world of aviation and aerospace.
What is Springpod?
Springpod is an innovative online platform offering virtual work experience courses across a broad range of subjects — from religious studies to aviation and aerospace. Through engaging content, real industry insight, and structured learning pathways, students can gain a clearer understanding of potential career routes.

Currently, there are nine aviation-related courses available, including engineering programmes developed by Rolls-Royce and modules exploring spaceports delivered in partnership with the Civil Aviation Authority. All courses are free to access and available to anyone aged 13+.
Why This Matters
As part of Aerobility's work under the Equal Skies Charter, we are committed to making aviation more accessible and inclusive. By directing students and aspiring aviation professionals to Springpod, we are helping them:
- Discover the breadth of roles within aviation and aerospace
- Gain valuable industry knowledge
- Build confidence and clarity about future career pathways
- Access opportunities they may not otherwise have considered
How to Sign Up
To ensure participants are linked to Aerobility’s dashboard, it is essential that they:
- Create an account on Springpod.
- Tick the box indicating they attend a school or college.
- Select Aerobility when prompted.
This simple step ensures they appear on our dashboard and are counted as part of our community engagement.
Looking Ahead
We encourage everyone in our community to begin sharing this opportunity with students, families, and aspiring aviation professionals. Together, we can continue opening doors and broadening horizons across the industry.
