KINECO COMPOSITES
FAC FEATURED MEMBER

From its humble beginnings in Goa in 1995, Kineco Limited has grown into one of India’s most admired and diversified composite manufacturing companies. With a legacy rooted in innovation and a track record of delivering high-performance solutions across defence, aerospace, railways, and industrial sectors, Kineco is now poised to become a strategic partner for advanced manufacturers and aerospace primes worldwide.
A Legacy of Innovation and Strategic Growth
Kineco’s journey began with the production of industrial containers and chemical tanks. Over the past three decades, the company has evolved into a high-technology composites powerhouse, thanks to strategic joint ventures and collaborations with leading Indian and global firms. These partnerships have enabled Kineco to adopt international best practices, integrate advanced materials like carbon fibre and epoxy, and deliver mission-critical components for defence and aerospace applications.
Notable contributions include:
- Indigenous Sonar Domes for naval platforms
- Carbon fibre heliportable bridges for rapid deployment
- Composite radomes for AEWACS aircraft
- Submarine model fabrication for defence R&D
Kineco’s commitment to India’s “Make in India” initiative has positioned it as a trusted supplier for the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and other strategic programmes.
Current Capabilities and Global Reach
Today, Kineco operates a world-class manufacturing facility in Goa, serving clients across telecom, railways, defence, and aerospace. Its product portfolio spans:
- Rail coach interiors and aerodynamic front ends
- Composite pressure vessels for corrosive environments
- Lightweight, high-strength aircraft components
Kineco’s recent multi-million-dollar contract with GKN Aerospace marks a major milestone in its aerospace journey. The agreement involves the manufacture and supply of composite components—potentially including carbon fibre and epoxy housings for aircraft engines. GKN Aerospace supplies major OEMs such as Boeing, Airbus, Safran, and Lockheed Martin, making this partnership a gateway to global aerospace supply chains.
Kineco has also supplied parts for the Boeing P-8 Poseidon and Safran Engines for the A320neo, and was recently recognised by BAE Systems for its role in meeting defence offset obligations for the M777 programme.
Strategic Potential for FAC Members
