Monthly Passenger Numbers: For example, in December 2024, 7.08 million passengers used Heathrow, which was a 5.55% increase compared to December 2023.


Air Transport Movements: Heathrow consistently records high numbers of flights, connecting to destinations worldwide.


Cargo Handling: The airport plays a vital role in cargo transportation, with significant tonnage processed annually.


South East Airports  - General Information


Passenger Numbers: Annual terminal passengers across UK airports have shown steady growth, with South East airports like Gatwick and Stansted contributing significantly. For example, in 2024, UK airports handled approximately 295 million passengers.


Air Transport Movements (ATMs): The number of flights has also increased, with 2.1 million ATMs recorded in 2024.
