16th & 17th May 2023

Background

The Ohio Aerospace Institute was founded in 1989 and is a joint initiative of the NASA Glenn Research Centre, the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the State of Ohio, ten Ohio public and private universities granting doctoral degrees in aerospace-related engineering disciplines, and numerous companies engaged in aerospace activities.

They continue to build technology collaborations with NASA Glenn Research Centre in Cleveland, Air Force Research Laboratory in Dayton, and other government laboratories. These collaborations can include technology transfer, patent licenses, access to specialized facilities and equipment, access to talent and expertise, procurement opportunities, and program initiatives. They build connections with academia and large companies, especially in the aerospace and related industries and assist companies to become better suppliers to government agencies and large companies. Ohio Aerospace Institute works with companies across all technology sectors, including aerospace, energy, transportation, medical devices, bioscience, agriculture, IT, and others.

The Farnborough Aerospace Consortium (FAC) is one of the seven regional trade associations in the UK. FAC is a not-for-profit trade association acting as a facilitator of business between large global primes and the supply chain in the Southeast and East of England based out of Farnborough, Hampshire – ‘The Home of UK Aerospace’.

FAC helps members promote their businesses in the UK and internationally through membership events and trade shows, we have a proven track record of helping companies to improve their performance across a range of business and manufacturing processes. FAC shapes the industry in the Southeast and East through strategic thinking and delivery, contributing to the development of the UK Aerospace Strategy through the Aerospace Growth Partnership and partnership with ADS on NATEP.

Objective

FAC in conjunction with the Ohio Aerospace Institute are pleased to announce that they are planning an export mission to Ohio on 16th – 20th May 2023 which will include attendance at the Ohio Global Aerospace Summit in Cleveland, Ohio.
